Default Problems with PIPS log in ???

Here is what to do if you have problems with login functions of the new PIPS site.
https://pips.pipsinc.com/guest_only/entrance.php

Now if this is the first time you are logging on to the new site you use your current username and password and in the code box you enter 0000.
If it comes up with servers are busy try again later.... try avoiding going on when the US is awake (tip)

If it comes up with username not found, try again, if that fails call support if you are absolutely sure you entered the correct password, username and the 000 pin.

Numbers for support are:

PIPS Support 1- +606 850 0876
PIPS Support 2- +606 850 0473
PIPS Support 3- +606 850 0462

Fax nr. +606 805 3391

Don't give up even if it can take a long time to get through.
Remember to be nice to the ladies! They are working hard for us.

International calling codes

http://kropla.com/dialcode.htm#table

If you have managed to log on to the new site and setup the secret question/answer and by some unfortunate mistake loose your pin or want to change your password then you can use the reset pin or password function.

Click the Members Area tag click the RESET PASSWORD tag it will take you to a page that asks you for the following details:
1) USERNAME
2) A NEW PASSWORD
3) CONFIRM IT
4) YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS REGISTERED WITH PIPS
5) YOUR PIPS PIN NUMBER
6) YOUR SECRET QUESTION
7) AND ANSWER
8)THEN AGREE after reading agreement
9) THEN RESET NOW
10) NOW YOU CAN log in with your new password.

If your pin isn’t working than:

Click the Members Area tag click the RESET PIN tag it will take you to a new page that asks you for the following details:
1) USERNAME
2) PASSWORD
3) YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS REGISTERED WITH PIPS
4) YOUR SECRET QUESTION
5) AND ANSWER
6) THEN AGREE after reading agreement
7) THEN RESET NOW
8) NOW YOU CAN see the new pin on the login page.

Shell, there is another pips account login problem that many people are experiencing. I tried a support ticket and have wrote post to pips moderators, when I hit submit the post says it was sent.

I looked in my sent box and didn't see anything listed. I then went to my out box (not this forum) and seen these sitting there.

Hi, can you shed some light? Forum Admin Wed Jul 27, 2005 9:13 pm
----------------------------------------------

Does this mean they were never sent? I put in a support ticket as well, but have never received any real support through that system.

The problem I'm trying to get answers to is:

-----------------------------------------------
When I login into my pips account I get this error:

"Login failed. Username/password not found. "(without quotes)

I know this is not a problem on my end. I see to many others having the same problem in the support area. Is this just an IT issue that they're aware of and are working on it? Is it more serous than that (did you lose my usenames & passwords) and if so what about my account info.

Please get back with me, also it would give us some relief if we knew what was going on (make a post in IT section). I have a support ticket in and have PM'd a few others with all the same info, but have yet to receive an answer of any kind. This type of response (lack of response) makes me more anxious than getting a response that is either good or bad.

Faithfully,

WebDevil
------------------------------------------

Can you our anyone else provide any info on this problem? I know the rule of copying from pips to this or any site, but I'd like to know if their (PIPS) forum is even running. If the above post aren't even sent to Moderators or to the Forum Admin, then how are we to comunicate with the company?

I'm not trying to be negative, I just want some kind of reasonable answer. Heck, I'll be satisfied with just an acknowledgement that they're aware of the problem and the issue is being resolved.

Shell, can you shed some light on this?

Cheers,

James

Hi James

Sure I will try to help.

When you send a PM to somebody the PM ends in your outbox. When the person you wanted to reach reads his PM the PM shows in your sent PM box. This way you can easily see if the receiver has read your PM.
If the receiver never reads his PM it will stay in your outbox until you delete it..........

Tickets;
Do not send tickets to PIPS. Their ticket system doesn't work........

Hello Shell, well I won't use the ticket system anymore. I found that if I just called for numbers above, it's a much easier way to get a response. I find that calling them about eight or 9 p.m. Eastern standard Time, I don't have to wait as long for an answer.

And I'm always polite to the ladies :-)

Thanks,

Just curious....

It was quite some time ago, I think the servers are down again and after reading some of the posts on the fourm, they were advising not to call because of everything that was going on.

This was just a post to Shell, I haven't been around recently and didn't want to appear rude. So I think the servers are still down, because I keep getting a 401 page not found error. But for more I read in a couple of posts the last couple days, the servers should be back up and running soon, I hope.

Sorry for the confusion,

Interesting,

Isn't it about time to clean up all these old and useless posts? Looking around is a trip down memory lane. All BAD memories.

Good luck to all, Mike
