    Yes I am a very old happily married Kiwi who moved from Paraparaumu many years ago to settle in a more stable environment in the Hawkes Bay. We have never been to Japan but our son has.
    HDG means we give occasional donations to help a fellow member to attend and report on a court case in Malaysia about a earlier creator of the PIPS Organisation. It was the downfall of Pips several years ago that the ROLCLUB was created although I would think that only a few thousand of the present 43,000 members are old Pips members. Rolclub has expanded into a useful and multi purpose of interest to most people.
    My wife reminds me that we do look after Japanese children (12 to 18 years) once or twice a year for one or two weeks but we are no better in speaking Japanese, but they now know a lot more about N Z'ers . Because of the current World downturn we do not expect any this year, however.
