    Default Breaking News!!

I've been purchasing my Dinar from the Natwest bank recently but as of yesterday they have stopped selling!

Their excuse is that they are finding it hard to get hold of the currency, at least that's what the lady just told me on the phone. My guess is they don't want to let anymore go as it's looking more and more likely to reval shortly.

    Just thought I'd share.

Did she actually say this Steve? Did you read Mrs A's struggles yesterday regarding Nat West???
Zubaidi:Monetary value of the Iraqi dinar must revert to the previous level, or at least to acceptable levels as it is in the Iraqi neighboring states.

Shabibi:The bank wants as a means to affect the economic and monetary policy by making the dinar a valuable and powerful.

Hey Steve, they were just talking about that in the rumour thread. It's getting pretty hot, I hope it happens sooner than later.

Yes Adam, she said exactly that, further to that, I also made a purchase yesterday and just had a second phone call regarding that and she went even further this time by saying that they were unavailable!

She asked me when I was travelling to Iraq???

I said I wasn't and mentioned the fact that there might be a revaluation soon and she said "right, ok, can I give you a call reference?"........ would not comment at all!!

    Could be significant.

You should have told her that you were traveling and was there anyway that you could get some dinar before your departure.

    Thanks Steve,

All banks in the UK get their dinar from Travelex. That's why the banks take orders without knowing if they can be filled because they don't check before.

Mrs A was told yesterday they didn't have them after they told her on line the order was complete. She got them today instead. Also got asked when she was travelling to Iraq. To which she replied being so pissed off with them, 'it was nothing to do with them', lol, love her.

I also got asked last time from Halifax when I was travelling. But it could be a sign, although the last order I made 2 weeks ago, 2.2 million dinars were all in 25k denoms and all NEW. Mrs A's are used and the same denoms, ie 25k's. Sooner or later the stocks have to run dry........I think we will see a reval soon.

    Interesting all the same.

    waiting, and ready to dance!!!!
Habakkuk 2:2-3 Then the LORD answered me and said: “ Write the vision And make it plain on tablets,
That he may run who reads it. 3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.

Next instalment..........I tried the Halifax next and got the same result as the Natwest, they don't have any dinars in stock so taking on Adster's info that they all get their currency from Travelex I called Travelex.

They said that the are struggling to get any dinars currently, They are going to call me back tomorrow and tell me whether or not I can go ahead and order from them directly. They don't have a home delivery service so if they have any I will have to pick them up from my nearest airport (Doncaster/Sheffield in South Yorkshire) in my case.

Here's to a positive call tomorrow, will post the result here.
