Thread: Chat Trojan Exposure Warning!!!

for all those of you who use the livve chat software be alerted to the fact that someone has installed a trojan on the site so when you try to access the red lobby your computer gets exposed.

this activity has been reported to the software/site owners as it is a violation of their terms of membership. for those of you who have experienced difficulty please contact Voice and Video Chat - www.LIvVE.com - Live Interactive Voice and Video Entertainment help section and notify them of this crime.

the trojan is JS/Exploit-BO.gen and the instructions to remove it from your system are here: JS/Exploit-BO.gen

I been using ccleaner, Optimiser, eraser, and hippo.com all day as well as spysweeper. I will now have a try with this. I havent detected the problem yet. Thanks SGS.

yes sir but several members of rol have went there and some have reported computer problems. just wanted to be able to reach everyone to try and save their computers from the viri.

it was easier than trying to pm everyone the information. i am doing it as a public service announcement if you will.

No Torjans, But my Cache needed major cleaning. All is good now. Also I have had that Live Chat downloaded on my system for alomost a year and a half. I use to use it in a couple other programs I was in. Guess I got lucky. But it wasn't my problem. Thanks tho for the Heads Up.

I've been running the program for a couple of months now and have never had a virus or for that matter an attempt to install one on my PC. I have not heard of anyone else having a problem either. Perhaps there is something else that the people having the problem have in common...

I thought it was good to keep stock of a trojan. j/k

Maliki no have virus, but Maliki stay invisible in red lobby and besides you would have to accept a file via the chat to get it.

well if you would like the facts and find me a creditable person feel free to PM me, I dont not want to junk this forum up again with bickering. that has nothing to with 99.9 % of the people here. No one needs to worry unless they have been banned from the site .. so take a deep breath and relax.
