Other forums as backup for RC? NON!

If any of you get any SPAM via PM's about any other forum's called ROlclubs backup forum, or email, then kindly let me know.

There is no Backup forum We run for Rolclub, as there probably is no backup forum for any of the large forums out there.

People promoting any links on Our site in PM or post will simply get banned, without anyway to come back. Please do have a look at our TOS!

Our site is back to Normal, and we have no spyware, trojans nor viruses on our site like that false email states...

If anyone is spamming our members online, then i suggest you stop this now. If anyone get any kind of spam via email or PM, please let me know asap.

Now i dont have anything against any other forums out there, but kindly do NOT spam our members in any way whatsoever or i will simply remove your RC access without a second thought on the matter.

Every now and then someone comes here, and spam our members, in order to launch their forum. I wish all forums the best, but NOT by spamming our members.

Most successful forums don't SPAM from day 1.... They build their own forums....
So kindly control your community, and have them stop the spam.

This is standard TOS on any of the major forums I have been visiting. And I disagree with your perception of censorship. It is merely sound business practice. Does Ford allow Chevy to post ads in Ford dealer showrooms? Do you see any signs in a Sears store that say something like "Come check out our bargains at the new Wal-Mart" ??

These problems started mainly around 29th of December, while i was on vacation.

Someone saw the chance,and started re-directing our traffic from old server to their sites with placing exploits on our site.

Had to deal with lowlifes that tried to:

1. Hack our site.
2. Re-direct our traffic to other forum.
3. Spam our members in PM's
4. Spam our members in Emails with spoof emails making it look like it was
from [email protected] ( can be done from any server, but look at the
headers of that email, it was not from Rolclub). Telling our members to stay
away from our site due to spyware, trojans and viruses. Lol. This is
done by someone that could wish to have such a site of their own.

I have spent 19 months building Rolclub, and will not EVER give up
this site to such low lifes. Security has been main issue, and we have
done all in our power to work on it, and still do.

5. Ddos attacks has slowed down, but our guards are still up, and we will
now NEVER let them down to any of these lowlifes ever again! Configurations, Ddos protection, manual work will stay the same, and as soon as we see any of these things happening agian, then we will do all to stay on top of it...

I have with 3 other programmers stayed up 4 last 4 nights trying to do all from moving servers, to securing it. This has been a lesson, as well as an experience i will not forget.

All popular sites sooner or later have Attacks like this from people that dont like to see someone having success...

One can never secure yourself from such attacks, or hacking episodes. There is always a way to hack a site as my programmers say. But we can only make it harder for them...

If we go down again, we will be back up... Those people that has done these actions, can still do it again, so we will monitor our site nonstop from here and out..................... Not letting down our guards.

Thanks for the email mate.I checked for step57. no such sign. Gald to have such technical people among us...

I also thank all members of Rc for all the support they have given during this time. Many have asked if they could donate $$$$ to keep the site up, but no need for that, even if the two weeks intense work with lots of programmers, new server, Ddos protections has costed us nearly what we pay for one years hosting... Thank you all for your support.
