Default How do you handle Dinar Investment guilt?

I realize that this may be a very strange subject but I have been dealing with this for awhile and just wanted to talk to people here at RolClub to see if anyone else had the same feelings.
My husband and I have been involved in this investment since July '04 and I am very, very happy that we did take the plunge and invest because this is indeed going to be a life changing event for my whole family. The problem that I am having is that deep down inside I am feeling guilty for profitting over something that has brought so much death to so many people, American military and Iraqis alike. I never really gave it a thought when we decided to invest but now years have past since our initial purchase and so many have lost their life fighting this war that I will end up profitting from.
Am I alone out there? I even told my husband that when the RV does happen, and I too believe that it will be very soon, I wanted to tell people that we received an inheritance from his grandfather who passed away in April '06 (that is true but the inheritance went to all his children). I am afraid that if people knew that we became wealthy over investing in Iraqi currency, that they will think negatively about my family. As I am typing this, I realize that I shouldn't really care what others think but this war is a pretty large controversial subject in this world and we are all going to become wealthy because of it. Thank you to those who took the time to read this long post, I rambled on there for a while. Also, thank you in advance to any of you who might have some words of wisdom to share. God Bless and a Happy New Year to you all!

    come on....bama...

Rhett Butler profited from the " war between the states war " here in the US....and everyone liked him except scarlett

you cant look at this as un holy money...Bechtel corporation and dick cheney have been making billions each year somewhere...because war is a business...

the business of america , that we export , is business....we are just by some quirk able to be let in on this investment thru the back door.....

which may be an interesting thread ..NEMO..

how were we allowed to invest in the ISX ?...I understand buying dinars on ebay....but how did we get REAL close with warkaa?....

anyhow...bama just count your blessings and do some good with the booty...i plan too..

    Hey, Lr4bama

I understand want you are saying. This is how I look at it. I'm 49 years old and being too old to go fight with my fellow America. I feel that I've done the next
best thing. In buying Dinar, makes the Iraqi economy and gov. stronger.
In turn lets our men and women come home.

    I hope this helps you.

    Arkie.

I do sometimes feel guilty about investing in the dinar as I know that many Iraqi citizens are struggling to make ends meet. I feel fortunate that I have been able to buy a few million dinars to make my life better. On the other hand, the fact that I am buying a few million dinar and investing in the ISX helps to make the wheels go round and hopefully we will see the eventual revaluation of the dinar. When this happens I know that the Iraqi people will have more purchasing power and Iraq will thrive and prosper, on that day I will no longer feel guilty.

    Default No guilt here.

I'm not sure guilt is really the right word here. I think we all feel sad that such ugly things are happening not only in Iraq but all over the world. It's truly sad what man kind does to one another but what control over that do any of us really have. I think that my purchasing dinar has not added to or taken away anything from the situation over there. I do prey for Gods Kingdom to come so that His will can be done are earth as it is in heaven as I truly believe that only Gods Kingdom can bring true peace and security to this earth. Man will never bring that about. Only God can and I prey that He will very soon as we all need it very badly. So, I would say, just do the best that you can to manage your profits well so as to be able to help those who may need it we you see a need and I think that is the best we can do for now. The rest is in Gods hands.
