    Default 25 Dinar Note

A friend at work today gave me a 25 Dinar note that is in brand new shape, like it has never been used, so I dont think it is Sadam-era Dinar. It has 3 horses on one side and all the markings similiar to the other notes listed on the CBI site. My friend said his cousin was in the army fixing choppers in Iraq aroudn 2004-2005, and when he came back he gave each family member a note. The note has the horse head water mark but no other securtiy features. Is this one of the smaller notes we are looking to find do ya think?

Here is a great tool to track the Dinar in chart format, anyone would be crazy not to invest in currency that is moving like this. Just look at the chart looks goooooooooood :)

When the CBI site comes back up, you can see the current currency used.

    Amazing,

All this time with no coins in circulation any longer, sure makes you wonder why so long without any coins to replace the ones pulled off market. And again, why was it done, and why so long with no news?

    Good luck to all, Mike

Default New Coinage Discussed Like Never Before

    Interesting,

Been over a year since Iraq pulled old coins from market, so with discussions on issue escalating in recent weeks, sure hope we hear they are ready to reintroduce new coins, and more importantly, what denom level they will be. No matter how many ways you look at this move, you can't help but question why, unless they were going to change denom level, no other reason would make sense, and with new demoms comes a new value, right? lol

    Success to all, Mike
