I will ask the bank if they also deal with Euro accounts. As for when it PEGS, hmmmm, nobody knows that for sure. But many predict that it will happen in near future.

When you send a wire transfer, do they take the fees directly out of the money you are sending, or do they charge the originating bank? Thanks in Advance!

From my experience with BoA, here is an example:

Let's say I intend on sending $1,000 USD.

    - I deposit $1,000 USD in my BoA account. (It has to be in your account. You cannot walk in there with cash and tell them to wire it. It has to come out of your account.)

    - They fill out form and send the wire. The $1,000 and the $40 fee are deducted from my BoA account.

    - When the funds arrive at Warka, it is deposited into my USD account. (Note: It is not $1,000 USD that arrive. Only about $970 or so arrive because of fees deducted by Commerz or whatever intermediary you use.)

    - Warka then transfers into your IQD account (assuming you have previously instructed them to do so.)

    Hope this helps.

That's strange. When I opened up my bank-account with them I had a reply within 24 hours. I was surprised how fast they were.

Maybe you should email them again.
