I didn't know there is a gas crisis?

If you don't call 3$+ a gallon a crisis, I don't know what is. I for one am a bit perturbed that shareholders of exxon and mobil are bragging about the insane returns that their investments are yielding. I am all for making a profit but not at the expense of millions of other people... (steps down from soapbox... ;) )

Heehee... in Europe, when we hear GAS...we associate it to propane or LPG...unlike what is commonly addressed in the USA as petroleum albeit LPG, Diesel or simply Petrol.

Trivia: Just had to pay a cent under the Euro for a liter of Diesel!!! Some parts pay as high as 1,65 Euro for Diesel

1 Euro = $1,25 USD
1 Gal = 4,2 liters.

Are we darn lucky not complaining and yet, bear the bloody brunt of the $70 barrell...!!!

Question.... does your income compensate or does the cost of living bypass the salaries there...

Either way, I don't think it is fair that ANYONE pay what is currently being paid for petrol. We are years away from Hubert's peak.
