Our Strategies
Stern Capital Management's Senior Traders make use of several diverse strategies with a focus on price action and market momentum in their daily trading. Trades are taken both on micro time frames and on short to medium term time frames. A majority of the trades taken are closed within the same trading day however swing (longer term) trades are taken occasionally to take advantage of trending markets and carry trade interest. Fundamentals are not used as speculative indicators however our traders do keep a keen eye and ear on the daily scheduled news events and make every effort not to have open trades during such events.
This all changed however, as new technologies have made it possible for smaller investors to participate directly in the forex market.
Each individual strategy has it's own set of indicators, some of the technical indicators utilized by our traders are; Momentum Indicators, Moving Averages, GANN Lines, Stochastics, QQE, Awesome Oscillator, and several other custom indicators. Naked charts are also used quite often to confirm entry and exit points using hand drawn trend lines and both Fibonacci and Lucas support and resistance levels.
