Manufacturing Industry

Investors were more focused on news about the manufacturing industry rather than the news about a possible credit rating downgrade in Spain. (Read more at Millennium-Traders.Com)

U.S. MBA Market Index fell 2.3% at 589.7; Last Week 603.5; U.S. MBA Purchase Index fell 5.0% at 200.3; Last Week 210.9; U.S. MBA Refinance Index fell 0.7% at 2,910.9; Last Week 2,932.0.

CPI (MoM):
U.S. Real Average Weekly Earnings fell 0.1% in November; U.S. November CPI Energy Prices rose 0.2%; Food Prices rose 0.2%; U.S. November CPI Unrounded rose +0.122%; Core rose 0.098%; U.S. November CPI Excluding Food & Energy rose 0.1%; Compared to Consensus of an increase by 0.1%; U.S. November Consumer Prices rose 0.1%; Compared to Consensus of an increase by 0.2%.

New York Empire State Manufacturing Index:
New York Fed December Prices Received 3.41 versus a decrease by 2.60 in November; New York Fed December Employment fell 3.41 versus 9.09 in November; New York Fed December New Orders 2.60 versus a decrease by 24.38 in November; New York Fed's December Manufacturing Index 10.57 versus a decrease by 11.14 in November.

China Holdings Rise to $906.8B, Highest Since November 2009; Foreigners Net Buyers $15.96B of U.S. Equities in October; Foreigners Net Buyers $1.13B of U.S. Corp Bonds in October; Foreigners Net Buyers $14.15B of U.S. Agency Debt in October; Foreigners Net Buyers $23.48B U.S. Treasury Notes, Bonds in October; Net Long Term Securities Purchases $27.6B in October; Net Foreign Long Term Securities Purchases $7.2B in October.

NAHB Housing Market Index:
U.S. NAHB December Housing Index 16, Unchanged from November.

Crude Oil Inventories released by DOE:
