Thread: Someone trying to hack usernames on RC

If you have a weak password for your username on RC, please try to change it from time to time.

Someone is trying to hack a few usernames on RC, and managed to hack a few accounts.

I was told about this from a few members that has lost their RC usernames, as their passwords seemed to have been changed.

I can see the ip list additions on each member, how many times they logged inn from that IP, and what was the last used IP. I always re-email new passw to the email adr that was used to register the account.

If you noticed any changes, or cant get into your account, please contact me.

Admin, why do people hack into private accounts on a forum? There is no money there, so what is their purpose? Sorry for my ignorance on the subject, I am looking for a cure, but am not a computer whiz.
