Hi Marek. Sorry to start a new thread but thought it important enough to do that since there may be other computer illiterates out there. You mentioned in the email you sent that you wanted us to go in make ROLclub our home page. I haven't a clue how to do that. Please advise.

Of course I am not Marek but I can still tell you how to do it, at least if your are using Internet Explorer. When you've got the Internet Explorer opened just click on "Tools" in the Menu above and then "Internet Options". Chose the tab "General" and there you can enter the homepage that you want. Just enter "www.rolclub.com", click "okay" and you're done!

Hi Antje, how is your new home-island? Getting better acquainted with it? Still better than Germany, considering it is only connected by broadband? Do you use a dish for your internet? What kind? These things are hard or very expensive to get, if available, in the Philippines.

The technical standard in Malta should not be underestimated. We have a fast internet connection (dsl 4096) by cable here. About the same as we had in Germany. We also have a dish - but only for TV, so we can receive German programs. Though I don't watch TV very often I still like to see some of my old favorites such as "Wer wird Millionär" (that's "Who wants to be a Millionaire" in German language)!

sounds like you are enjoying Malta. Am glad you are able to settle in and still feel attached to "home" via the famous TV dish. Wish you all the best there and that you may find your goal you talked about at the beginning of our meeting in the German language part of this forum.
