Trade Deficit

U.S. November Import Prices rose 1.3%; Compared to Consensus of an increase by 0.8%; October Exports $158.72B, rose 3.2%; Imports $197.44B, fell 0.5%; U.S. November Petroleum Import Prices rose 4.1%.

Trade Balance:
U.S. Trade Gap With China Shrinks 8.3% Amid Record-High Exports; U.S. October Trade Deficit $38.71B; Compared to Consensus Deficit of $44.0.

University of Michigan Consumer Sentiment Index:
University of Michigan Mid-December Sentiment 74.2; University of Michigan Mid- December Current Index 85.7; University of Michigan 12-Month Inflation Forecast rose 2.9%; University of Michigan 5-Year Inflation Forecast rose 2.7%.

Michigan Inflation Expectations:
University of Michigan Mid-December Expectations 66.8.

Federal Budget Balance:
U.S. Government Posts $150.4B November Budget Deficit; U.S. November Budget Deficit is 26th Consecutive Monthly Gap; U.S. Deficit $290.8B So Far in Fiscal Year 2011, Down from 2010.
