Thread: Oil Investment Opportunity

This may not be the most appropriate place to post this since this is not a HYIP or a program, but I thought I would post in General Discussion anyway because this really is worth looking into for someone who's looking for a tangible asset.

I am selling a 1% working interest in a legendary US oil field. This is a rich Wilcox field that has a cumulative production of approximately 2,300,000 bbls of oil. Four new wells have been drilled in this field in the past year with 100% success. There are also 11 older wells with the last two being refurbished this month. The company who owns and operates this field has been in the oil business since 1946.

With the turmoil in the Middle East, US oil production has once again become a very profitable business to be in. This is probably the worst possible time for me to sell, however, due to a personal situation, I must. I am selling a 1% working interest for $59,975.00. Return on investment has been averaging about 50% per year. If you are in the US, there are also very good tax breaks with this type of investment. And of course, you will be provided with the full details including prospectus and company contact.

is this safe investment ? its paying only 50% per year so we have to wait year to get money ?

The returns are not as high as a HYIP program but this investment is real and tangible (unlike many HYIPs).

The oil industry is highly regulated in the USA. There is a government website that keeps all the data on the wells, fields, operators, and production. You can even go and walk the oil field (all 2000 acres). If someone is seriously interested in buying my 1% working interest, the company that owns and operates this field will send out a full prospectus. DD is fairly easy to do.

Also, I am not the person who would be handling anyone's money. I'm selling my 1% working interest but if someone is serious about buying I will put that person in direct contact with the oil company to have any questions answered. Also, the oil company would handle the sales transaction.

Is there any evidence or documents you can show that this has been giving you a 50% profit for the past couple years?
