Unemployment

Things were looking up on Wall Street today when it was reported unemployment fell more than expected. (Read more at Millennium-Traders.Com)

MBA Mortgage Applications:
U.S. MBA Refinance Index fell 1.0% at 3,793.6; Last Week 3,831.0; U.S. MBA Market Index rose 2.1% at 728.8; Last Week 713.6; U.S. MBA Purchase Index rose 14.4% at 205.0; Last Week 179.2.

Durable Goods Orders (MoM):
September Durable Goods Excluding-Transportation Revised to increase by 1.3% from a decrease by 0.8%; September Durable Goods Orders Revised to increase by 5.0% from an increase by 3.5%; October Durable Goods Orders, Excluding-Defense, fell 2.1%; October Durable Goods Orders, Excluding-Transportation, fell 2.7%; U.S. October Durable Goods Orders -3.3%; Consensus rose 0.1%.

Initial Jobless Claims (MoM):
U.S. Jobless Claims fell 34K to 407K in Week of November 20; Compared to Survey of a decrease by 4K; U.S. Jobless Claims Drop to Lowest Level since July 2008; U.S. Nov 13 Week Jobless Claims Revised to 441K from 439K; U.S. Nov 13 Week Continuing Claims fell 142K to 4,182,000.

Personal Income/Spending (MoM):
September Spending Revised to +0.3% from +0.2%; September Personal Income Revised to Unchanged% from -0.1%; U.S. Personal Income rose 0.5% in October; Compared to Consensus of an increase by 0.4%; U.S. Personal Spending rose 0.4% in October; Compared to Consensus of an increase by 0.5%.

Core PCE Price Index (MoM):
October PCE Price Index rose 0.2% Rate on Month; rose 1.3% on Year; October PCE Core Price Index unchanged Rate on Month; rose 0.9% on Year.

Michigan Consumer Sentiment Index:
University of Michigan End-November Sentiment 71.6; University of Michigan End- November Current Index 82.1; University of Michigan 12-Month Inflation Forecast rose 3.0%; University of Michigan 5-Year Inflation Forecast rose 2.8%.

Michigan Inflation Expectations:
University of Michigan End-November Expectations 64.8.

New Home Sales:
U.S. September New Home Sales Revised to 308K from 307K; U.S. October New Home Sales fell 8.1% to 283K; Compared to Consensus of 314K.

Crude Oil Inventories as released by DOE:
