This is a very complicated web that has been weaved around the book "The Secret" by Rhonda Byrnes. Just a few of the major players are: David Schirmer, Bob Proctor and Jack Canfield; but there are many more.

To tell it all would take up way, way too much space, and to be frank is not worth it. The basic premise is this: "Everything that's coming into your life you are attracting into your life. And it's attracted by virtue of the images you're holding in your mind. It's what you're thinking. Whatever is going on in your mind you are attracting to you. The thoughts you just thought . . . the answers that surfaced before you could stop them . . . are responsible for programming your current results! If you don't like the results in your life, you need to change your thoughts. That's ALL that the Law of Attraction is about.

But If the Law of Attraction is as simple as that, why aren’t more people wealthy, even gratified about the state their lives are in? The Answer is a Simple One: There is an Exact Science to Applying the Law of Attraction to Build the Life You Seek." This is from Bob Proctor and Jack Canfield's presentation seminar explaining the "Secret."

And of course to do that you need a coach, a master teacher, and of course Bob and Jack are the ones who need as your coach. Of course you have to buy their materials in order for you to learn how to obtain the exact science to applying the law of attraction. And to do so only costs $1995, for starters. You can't do it on your own; or so the story goes.

David Schirmer was going around the world doing seminars on how successful he is at trading, and having people signup to allow him to trade for them, and of course buy his materials on how you too can become a successful trader. Only one problem, David never reveals to anyone his results. He only tells them his results. Nothing is ever produced showing this success. It is on his word only. Kind of reminds you of Bryan Marsden and PIPS now doesn't it.

So all these successful people no longer allow negativity to enter their minds, and thus everything that happens to them is always good and prosperous. As I said, a funny thing happened to all these "masters" of the "Secret," to allow that evil negativity to enter into their lives. You have to wonder how this happened since now we have:

David Schirmer in Federal Court for Misleading and Deceptive Conduct - Accuser, Bob Proctor.
David Schirmer in Federal Court for breach of Trade Mark License - Accuser, John Fitzgerald.
Rhonda Byrnes (author of "The Secret") in Court in US for cheating a fellow producer out of a hundred million or so.

And this is just the beginning. It has been speculated that Jack Canfield and Bob Proctor have had a falling out and lawsuits may be filed. And there is more to come in this ongoing saga. It seems lawsuits will be filed against Bob Proctor and Jack Canfield by their "students" as their "students" claim the material they received is not working as promised by Bob and Jack. Guess not enough "positive" vibes in the magnetic field of thoughts were generated to overcome the "negative" vibes in the magnetic field of thoughts, and the "masters" failed to deliver except to make them rich.

Guess they weren't "Masters" of "The Secret" after all.

A vicious circle about to unfold among those now caught up even by their very own students... a gamble it certainly appeared unfavorable for Proctor himself but face prosecution as well he will.
No secrets among them then and one I won't ever one to get involve from the very beginning... had a good scam lesson learn with Bryan Marsdens kind of "theology"... his secret and vision was to deliver for so many who once were gripped by it.

I'm now fortunately far away with better moods listening to "The Book, Rings & Secrets by Loreena Mckennitt.

Soothing and it embodies music and harmony into one, don't break but keep the silence to yourself.... go, have a dance with the wolves!

Perhaps Judge Dredd would be a more appropriate comic for the masses.

In other words what you focus on you become and I beleive this happens on a subliminal level because if you can put messages into your subconscious then you can achieve quite extraordinary things.

In order to put the right messages into your subconscious you need to work these out with your concsious mind

If you put the message into your subconscious I only attract people that are good for me and good for my business....guess what...it happens.

I am not against thinking positive, and eliminating as much negativity you can from your thought process. What I am against is those who try to make a fortune off people by always requiring them to buy their next product to take them to the next level. The only ones who get rich are the ones selling the product.

Most of people's successes come from being able to network within the right circle of people, not listening to Bob Proctor who like David Schirmer tout their sucesses, but are nothing more than conmen in expensive suits. When they say that people in Durfur are responsible for their own poverty and misery because they think negatively, not positively, they are nothing more than conmen in an empty suit.

If putting a picture of a Silver BMW on your computer screen is what got you your Silver BMW, then all the power to you. I have had a picture of a Ferrari on mine for 3 years, and still no Ferrari. Not because I don't believe I deserve one, or haven't visualized owning one either.

The bottom line is "The Secret" is not something new, but just retreaded programs of the past into one "new" concept. At least they try to claim it is new. The whole concept goes out the window when the "Leaders" of "The Secret" end up suing each other. Guess the law of negativity wasn't removed from their subconscious after all like they claimed.

Back on topic. I thought today was the day Stella was going to have this great update for the members. Gee, now who would have guessed another deadline has come and gone and missed.

I seem to recall saying she wouldn't make any announcement today, and if we were lucky it would be at least the 21st or 22nd, if then. Let's see how close I come. She is beginning too become to easy to predict. Of course chico let it slip a long time ago that Stella wasn't the real name. He just tries to deny he said it, but too many people have his post on a screen snapshot of him saying it. Now it is time for chico to come and deny he ever said anything of the sort, you know his usual nonsense psyco-babble he calls "expressing his free speech rights."

back off topic... I see what you mean about the "Secret".... My friend Bud said the same thing and thought it was a rip off for the same reason. It will be interesting to see what happens next.

Its about focusing on all the things that improve you as person....financial rewards are just a by product,,where poeple go wrong is trying to gain the financial rewards with out any self development or work on their part

One of the ways I feel people could start is educating themselves about the financial world and stop getting sucked into scams for a start.

In the 2 years that folk have dreamed about this they could have done something really positive with their lives.
