GDP Growth

It was reported this morning that GDP growth in the third quarter was up from second quarter results. (Read more at Millennium-Traders.Com)

GDP (QoQ):
Real Final Sales rose 0.6% in 3Q; U.S. GDP rose 2.0% Rate in 3Q; Compared to Consensus of an increase by 2.1%.

Employment Cost Index (QoQ):
Chain-Weighted Price Index rose 2.3% Rate in 3Q; Domestic Purchases Price Index rose 0.8% Rate in 3Q; Core PCE Price Index rose 0.8% Rate in 3Q; PCE Price Index rose 1.0% Rate in 3Q; U.S. 3Q Employment Cost Index rose 1.9% from Year Ago; U.S. 3Q Employment Cost Index rose 0.4%; Compared to Consensus of an increase by 0.5%.

Chicago Purchasing Management Institute:
U.S. Chicago Purchasing Management October New Orders Index 65.0 versus September 61.4; U.S. Chicago Purchasing Management October Employment Index 54.6 versus September 53.4; U.S. Chicago Purchasing Management October Supplier Deliveries 62.8; versus September 58.4; U.S. Chicago Purchasing Management October Prices Paid Index 68.9 versus September 55.0; U.S. Chicago Purchasing Management Adjusted October Index 60.6 versus September 60.4.

Michigan Consumer Sentiment Index:
University of Michigan End-October Sentiment 67.7; University of Michigan End- October Current Index 76.6; University of Michigan End- October Expectations 61.9.

Michigan Inflation Expectations:
University of Michigan 12-Month Inflation Forecast rose 2.7%; University of Michigan 5-Year Inflation Forecast rose 2.8%.
