Egypt (Cairo) - Egyptian Prime Minister Ahmed Nazif received Chinese Minister of Industry and Information Technology Li Yizhong.

The meeting was attended by Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry Rachid Mohamed Rachid. Cabinet spokesman Magdi Radi said the Chinese minister reiterated his country's appreciation of the distinguished relations between Egypt and China in the various domains.
Nazif underlined the depth of Egypt-China ties, saying Egypt takes keen interest in boosting cooperation with China.

Nazif said he looks forward to activating Egyptian-Chinese cooperation to promote the development process in the African continent.

Egypt and China agreed on Sunday to cooperate in promoting several industries at a meeting between Egypt's Minister of Trade and Industry Rachid Mohamed Rachid and Chinese Minister of Industry and Information Technology Li Yizhong.

They agreed to cooperate in the fields of auto industry, transportation, aviation, textiles, raw materials, electronics, computer programming, metal and chemical industries, water desalination and environment protection.

Cooperation is also to involve technology transfer, small and medium industries and information technology exchange.

Rachid said the coming stage will witness a big leap forward in Egyptian-Chinese cooperation in the various industrial and trade fields.

China is one of Egypt's biggest trade partners, he said.

The volume of trade exchange between Egypt and China exceeded 3.474 billion dollars by the end of the first half of 2010.

In 2009, the volume exceeded 5.859 billion dollars.

Egypt's exports to China hit 414.6 million dollars in the first half of this year while China's exports to Egypt were worth 3.59 billion dollars in the same period.

Egypt's exports to China stood at 752 million dollars in 2009, compared to 5.107 billion dollars for Chinese exports.

Rachid said his talks with the Chinese trade minister also covered prospects of establishing joint industrial projects in a number of African countries.

Egypt's National Telecommunications Institute (NTI) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) Sunday with ZTE, a leading Chinese company in the telecommunications services.

Under the MoU, the Chinese company will set up a centre for researches at the NTI premises in the Smart Village.

The MoU was inked by the NTI Director Ahmed el-Sherbini and the regional director of the ZTE.

Moussa Abu Markouz, Hamas' deputy politburo chief, said Hamas and Fatah officials have agreed to hold a second meeting next week in Damascus.

Abu Marzouk today told Kuwaiti Al-Jarida newspaper that “Egypt will invite all Palestinian factions to Cairo to sign the document of understanding, announcing Palestinian national reconciliation on a win-win basis.”

He added that “the way of current dialogue was agreed on in Mecca between Omar Suleiman, director of Egyptian general intelligence, and Khaled Meshaal, Hamas political leader.”

During the Mecca meeting and at another meeting in Damascus in which Meshaal met with Azzam al-Ahmed, senior Fatah movement official, three main issues were discussed, said Abu Marzouk. These included reformation of the PLO, election timing, and the formation of election, judicial and security commissions.

He concluded: “We will all celebrate Palestinian national reconciliation in Egypt soon.”

I´ve been investing for more than 20 years and trading for almost 14, and I can tell you that if you want to make BIG and FAST profits, I recommend you trading rather than investing, trading can help you to go from rags to rich.
If you are investing, you must have already achieved some degree of financial success, long term stock investing and FOREX can help you to diversify your money and become much richer than you are today.
