U.S. December Consumer Prices rose 0.1% compared to consensus of an increase by 0.1%; U.S. December CPI Excluding-Food & Energy rose 0.1%; compared to consensus of an increase by 0.1%; U.S. December CPI Unrounded rose 0.134%; Core rose 0.112%; U.S. December CPI Energy Prices rose 0.2%; Food Prices rose 0.2%; U.S. Real Average Weekly Earnings unchanged% in December.

NY Empire State Manufacturing Index:
New York Fed's January Manufacturing Index 15.92 versus 4.50 in December; New York Fed’s January New Orders 20.48 versus 2.77 in December; New York Fed’s January Employment 4.00 versus a decrease by 5.26 in December; New York Fed’s January Prices Received 2.67 versus a decrease by 9.21 in December.

Industrial Production:
U.S. December Industrial Production rose 0.6%; compared to consensus of an increase by 0.6%; U.S. November Industrial Production Revised to rise 0.6% from a rise by 0.8%.

Capacity Utilization Rate:
U.S. November Capacity Use Revised to 71.5% from 71.3%; U.S. December Capacity Utilization rose 0.5-Point at 72.0%; compared to consensus of 71.8%.

Michigan Consumer Sentiment Index:
University of Michigan 5-Yr Inflation Forecast rose 2.8%; December rose 2.7%; University of Michigan 12-Month Inflation Forecast +2.8%; December rose 2.5%; University of Michigan Mid-January Expectations 67.5; December 68.9; University of Michigan Mid-January Current Index 81.0; December 78.0; University of Michigan Mid-January Sentiment 72.8; December 72.5.
