University of Michigan Consumer Sentiment Index:
5-Year Inflation Forecast rose 2.9%; compared to a September increase by 2.8%; Mid-October Sentiment came in at 69.4; compared to a September reading of 73.5; Mid-Oct Current Index came in at 72.1; compared to a September reading of 73.4; Mid-Oct Expectations came in at 67.6; compared to a September reading of 73.5; 12-Month Inflation Forecast rose 2.8%; compared to a September increase by 2.2%.
