Hello Adster,
Request that you please re-send info on betting exchanges to the email address I PM'd you as I may have missed the first send. Please put BET EXCHANGE in subject line to help me spot it. Also, upon seeing your post on Betfair, I looked them up and tried to sign up with them but discovered that they do not allow bets to be made from within the USA. Would you have a recommendation for any other such booking service? Thanks.
Best regards,
thelema

Hi all,
I will be laying the draw tonight with Middlesborough v Stuttgart. At 2-1 to Boro I believe the way both teams play there will be a goal or two therefore the idea is to lay the draw, current odds are 3.4. Once there is a goal, preferably by Boro, then back the draw, odds should go to about 5.4 to 6 on the back side. Instant profit whatever the result.
We shall see!!!Zubaidi:Monetary value of the Iraqi dinar must revert to the previous level, or at least to acceptable levels as it is in the Iraqi neighboring states.
Shabibi:The bank wants as a means to affect the economic and monetary policy by making the dinar a valuable and powerful.

More info to help people get a grasp for it:
This mentions arbing and trading. I do both but concentrate more on trading.
I don't use these people, just found it whilst searching for info to help members here understand the concept etc.

Layed the draw in Boro game, odds of 3.4, Stuttgart scored, backed out of trade at odds of 4.4.
Rest of game, beer, profit made, job done. ;0)Zubaidi:Monetary value of the Iraqi dinar must revert to the previous level, or at least to acceptable levels as it is in the Iraqi neighboring states.

Adster have you worked out your win/ loss ratio since you started this?
Must be pretty high.

Ok all, some info to help you understand it, took mea little while initially to get my head round it, so here goes:
Using say Arsenal V Birmingham as an example. Perfect as you want a strong home team and a weaker away team. What you want is Arsenal to score as early as possible so you can then back the draw and make money after you've layed the draw before kick off.
Ok, say you lay the draw at odds of 4.0, this is actually 3.0 as you always subtract 1 from the figure you see. So if you layed the draw at odds of 4.0 at 50 pounds, then 4-1=3, 3x50= 150. That would be your liability if the game finished in a draw. You'd win 50 if it wasn't a draw.
Now say Arsenal scored, then the odds on the back side would go from a start of say 3.9 to 5.9. You would then back the draw. If you backed it with 50 pounds then it would work like this. 5.9-1=4.9x50 = 245. So basically if the game finished in a draw you'd have 245-150= 95 profit. But if it finished in a win for either side you'd win 50-50 = 0!! That's why, and Betfair on their settings shows you when you play around with your stake money shows you what you'd win or lose.
Say instead of backing with 50 you'd backed it with 35. Then you'd have 5.9-1=4.9 x 35 = 171.50. So your profit would have been 171.50 - 150 = 21.50 if it was a draw and 50 - 35 = 15 if either side won!!! Guaranteed to win whatever the result!!!
If you're watching a game like I did a couple of weeks ago, West Ham v Birmingham. Once West Ham scored and they were all over Birmingham, you can load it so that the team you think will win will have a higher ratio than the draw. As long as you 'green up' (which means you win something for any result) then you've cracked it! I actually waited and West Ham got a second. The odds went even higher, but this isn't to be recommended as if Birmingham had scored the odds would have come back down.
Use common sense and don't be greedy. If anyone wants to do this I'd suggest paper trade for a while to test out.
Hope this helps.

Ok Adstar, mate, now play fair.
Give us a blow by blow account because I am lost also.
I,m used to the bookies fixed odds betting sheet, but did not know you could still wager in the middle of a match.
Just give us a fictitional match with odd-on for a home win and then show us your workings from kick off and your bet.
Cheers mate
