Industrial Production

Federal Reserve’s report on industrial production rose more than expected in August, sending stocks higher. (read more at Millennium-Traders.Com)

MBA (Mortgage Bankers Association) Mortgage Applications:
U.S. MBA Refinance Index fell 7.4% at 2454.5 compared to last week 2651.2; U.S. MBA Purchase Index fell 10.3% at 272.9 compared to last week 304.1; U.S. MBA Market Index fell 8.6% at 592.8 compared to last week 648.3.

Core CPI (Consumer Price Index):
U.S. August Consumer Prices rose 0.4% compared to consensus of an increase by 0.4%; U.S. August CPI Ex-Food & Energy rose 0.1% compared to consensus of an increase by 0.1%; U.S. August CPI Unrounded rose 0.447%; U.S. August CPI Core rose 0.068%; U.S. August CPI Energy Prices rose 4.6%; U.S. August CPI Food Prices rose 0.1%; U.S. Real Average Weekly Earnings fell 0.2% in August.

Current Account:
U.S. 2Q Current Acct Deficit $98.8B was seen at a Deficit of $92.5B; U.S. 1Q Current Acct Revised to a Deficit of $104.5B versus a Deficit of $101.5B.

Crude Oil Inventories as released by DOE (Department of Energy):
U.S. Refineries Ran at 86.94% capacity; was seen 86.70%; U.S. Refineries Ran at 86.94% capacity versus 87.2% Week Ago; U.S. Distillate Stockpiles +2.237 million barrels in the week; was seen +1.4 million barrels; U.S. Distillate Stockpiles +2.237 million barrels at 167.793 million barrels; U.S. Gasoline Stockpiles +0.547 million barrels in the week; was seen +0.6 million barrels; U.S. Gasoline Stockpiles +0.547 million barrels at 207.7 million barrels; U.S. Crude Oil Stockpiles -4.729 million barrels in the week; was seen -2.5 million barrels; U.S. Crude Oil Stockpiles -4.729 million barrels at 332.753 million barrels.
