    Consumer Confidence Index

    Stocks rally again after the Consumer Confidence index shows better than expected data for the month of August. (read more at Millennium-Traders.Com)

    S&P/CS Home Price Indices Composite - 20:
    S&P Case-Shiller June 20-City Home Price Index down 15.4% year over year; S&P Case-Shiller June 10-City Home Price Index up 1.4% month over month; S&P Case-Shiller June 20-City Home Price Index up 1.4% month over month; S&P Case-Shiller 2Q U.S. National Home Price Index down 14.9% year over year; S&P Case-Shiller 2Q U.S. National Home Price Index up 2.9% quarter over quarter.

    Conference Board Consumer Confidence:
    U.S. Conference Board August Consumer Confidence 54.1 versus July 47.4; Conference Board August Present Situation Index 24.9 versus July 23.3; Conference Board August Expectations Index 73.5 versus July 63.4.

    Redbook:
