Housing Starts

Commerce Department reported housing starts fell 1% in July to a seasonally adjusted rate of 581,000, the first drop in three months. (read more at Millennium-Traders.Com)

Building Permits fell 1.8% to 560,000 million rate in July.

PPI (Producer Price Index):
U.S. July Producer Prices fell 0.9% compared to consensus of a decrease by 0.4%; U.S. July PPI Ex-Food & Energy fell 0.1% compared to consensus of an increase by 0.1%; U.S. July PPI Intermediate Goods fell 0.2% U.S. July PPI Intermediate Goods Core rose 0.2%; U.S. July PPI Crude Goods fell 4.5% U.S. July PPI Crude Goods Core rose 2.9%;
U.S. July PPI Energy Prices fell 2.4%; U.S. July Passenger Car Prices fell1.7%; U.S. June PPI Unrevised at +1.8%.

Housing Starts:
U.S. July Housing Starts fell 1.0% to 581,000 compared to consensus of an increase by 2.7%; June Housing Starts Revised to a gain of 6.5% from +3.6%.
