Current Economic Recession

Many experts believe with all of the positive data being released in the past couple of weeks, the current economic recession way be coming to an end. (read more at Millennium-Traders.Com)

GDP Price Index:
US GDP fell 1.0% rate in 2Q compared to consensus of a drop by 1.5%; Real Final Sales fell 0.2% in 2Q; PCE Price Index rose 1.3% rate in 2Q; Domestic Purchases Price Index rose 0.7% rate in 2Q; Chain-Weighted Price Index rose 0.2% rate in 2Q.

Employment Cost Index (ECI):
U.S. 12-Month ECI gain smallest on record; U.S. 2Q Employment Cost Index rose 0.4% compared to consensus of an increase by 0.3%; U.S. 2Q Employment Cost Index rose 1.8% from year ago.

Chicago PMI (Chicago Purchasing Management):
U.S. Chicago PMI Adjusted July Index 43.4 versus June 39.9; U.S. Chicago PMI July Prices Paid Index 35.0 versus Jun 36.3; U.S. Chicago PMI July Supplier Deliveries 49.6 versus June 43.1; U.S. Chicago PMI July Employment Index 35.3 versus Jun 28.9; U.S. Chicago PMI July New Orders Index 48.0 versus Jun 41.6.
