Is Private Messaging not working

Anyone else having a problem with private messaging. I keep getting the message "Your administrator has disabled private messaging".

I am trying to find out what other rules than those listed, determine grounds for banning?

Since I am unable to ask this in a private message to a moderator, I guess I will ask it here.

If you are only wanting to see positive posts, then state that.

Deflamatory remarks should work both ways. If someone flames me for my opinion, then I should have the right to return the favor.

But, like I said, if you only want this to work one way, positives can flame negatives, just say so, and I'll try hard not to do otherwise.

Put your site/sites in your profile, least people can go straight to them then.

FYI: if you want to be available for members who want to contact you...

You can also always add an e-mail address to your profile so people can mail you through rolclub interface... with or without PM activated. If you're worried about spam you can always create a special address for this purpose.
HOW: (1) go to 'User CP' in the menu in this web page's header (2) in the left of the page that opens, go to 'control panel' and click 'Edit Options' (3) in the option group "Messaging and notification", check the second option "Receive Email from Other Members" (4) at the bottom of the page click "save changes". Done!
Then, a new item "Send e-mail to ...". will appear in the list which is shown when people click on your user name above your posts.
Btw: when you add a site to your profile, as Adster suggested, another new item appears in that list: "Visit ...'s homepage!".

Marek/...: maybe you can make a sticky on this subject here & in the program section?
