Daily Market Commentary for May 6, 2009

Trading action was very whip-o-tile ahead of the stress test results from the government tomorrow. (read more at Millennium-Traders.Com)

Economic data released for today:

ADP Employment Report:
ADP sees April U.S. Private Sector Jobs down 491,000; ADP April U.S. Private Sector Jobs expected to be lower by 650,000.

EIA (Energy Information Administration) Petroleum Status Report:
U.S. Refineries ran at 85.3% capacity was seen at increase by 0.1 point at 82.8%; U.S. Distillate Stockpiles rose by 2.4 Million Barrels in the week was seen rising by 1.2 Million Barrels; U.S. Gasoline Stockpiles fell by 200,000 Barrels in the week was seen rising by 100,000 Barrels; U.S. Crude Oil Stockpiles rose by 600,000 Barrels in the week was seen rising by 2.1 Million Barrels; U.S. Refineries ran at 85.3% capacity versus 82.7% a week ago; U.S. Distillate Stockpiles rose by 2.4 Million Barrels at 146.5 Million Barrels; U.S. Gasoline Stockpiles fell by 0.2 Million Barrels at 212.4 Million Barrels; U.S. Crude Oil Stockpiles rose by 0.6 Million Barrels at 375.3 Million Barrels.
