    Default why is the fat lady singing?

    Hey there folks,

    I am singing because I am fat and for no other reason! I just decided how to approach this... Thank goodness for inspiration...

    It popped into my head when I am off from work, I'm going to eat fruit and whey or spirulina shakes... Anybody else needing to shed some?

    whew! I'm needing it bad!

    Me also. Too much good living over Christmas has helped me put on some unwanted padding.
    Back to the gym tonight and less time sat in front of the computer.

    i have posted about weight loss before I am very happy to report that since may 05 I have lost a total of 87lbs! I have gone from a tight 48 size waist to a snug 34. S0 when pips comes back soon I hope, I NEED SMALLER CLOTHES LOL did not mean to shout! in caps. If your are going to diet, be safe and take it slow and SAFE!

    Started back to the gym this morning at 7:00 AM, yes that is 7AM. Want to shed weight and feel positive you need to start your day that way!

    Man it was a tough first day back after holidays, LOL!

    I did it last year.
    Now that my kids are almost grown, and I have become 'mom' instead of 'mommy' .... time to get my life back. I am not self displined enough for machines or gyms (they seem boring to me).... but I walk, walk, walk... I love the outdoors and plus this gives me a chance to visit with all of my neighbors for miles around... I'm excercising and I don't even notice... because I love people, and I guess it's as much a 'social excercise' as anything ....

    cut back on sugars and refined carbs... I used to drink at least one Pepsi a day, many times 2 or 3.... yikes!
    Iced tea now... and coffee (I love a nice latte)...
    I ate well and still lost 20 lbs over 2 months time and I am back in a size 7.... yay! But the best part is I feel great!

    and if I can do it.... you can do it!...
    I'm a chocoholic and like I said....-0- self disipline when it comes to excercise...

    I am also a chocaholic and eat lots of everything. But I'm slim & skinny. at Height 5 feet 8 I weigh just 54 Kilograms.

    The only thing I avoid is adding white sugar with tea or coffee. But I excercise alot (I'm a karate black belt), so I need to eat alot and the idea of removing anything from my diet is out of place considering my lifestyle.

    My recommendations:

    Avoid adding white sugar... it's an edible poison... if you have to take sugar use brown sugar and take vitamin B suplements.

    Do not take 1 big meal... learn to live on munching something small every little while. I know they say it's bad but that's bullshit. And don't munch sweets... go for fresh nuts or baked nuts without added sugar. Especially DO NOT TAKE AN ENGLISH BREAKFAST.

    Don't take soft drinks, the only right thing to drink is water. Period! You may occasionally indulg with a warm tea or coffee but those things reduce water from your body so you must compensate.

    THE BIGGEST SECRET THIN PEOPLE WHO EAT ALOT WON'T normally SHARE: THe Brain burns more fat than anything else... take a memorisation course and keep it real busy and enjoying it... try learning something like computer programming, computer games, crosswords and puzzles.

    MOVE ALOT. If you don't feel like running... switch on some rythmic music and dance, dance, dance But start slowly... if you are fat you must learn to burn it and IF YOU ARE LOSING BREATH you ar doing it wrongly... you must raise your heart beat, but if you are losing breath you are NOT BURNING FAT, YOU ARE BURNING GLYCOGEN... which will eventually INCREASE FAT, and sugar levels. Only go for some hard sweating once you start feeling fitter and when your body tells you that it feeels like sprinting a mile in 1 minute... let it have it.

    ANOTHER COMMON MISTAKE: DOn't just move... Stretch your muscles.

    Get a decent education about the subject too: Avoid ALL the stuff that takes away fat deposits without giving you a hearthbeat raise for at least 20 minutes at one go every 2 days.

    Last but not least: Love yourself with fat and everything.

    Bad news for guys: Your little toy is going to work really bad if you keep those fat bags.

    Good news for women: (unlike hairy ones) Fat ladies can be sexy, they are nice to hug because they feel soft when touched and that's a very feminine characteristic. Also for a female to be healthy she must have a thin layer of fat underneath the skin, and fatty buttocks, breasts and tighs.

    Oh my! I'm turning on just thinking about it!

    And Moncheri; forget beign strict with yourself too... just find a way to enjoy it! THen Reward yourself with a thin, sexy outfit and send me a picture this way... I'll write you a poem about your lovely, new silouette Deal?

    Where do you FIND this stuff, YB???

    The whole family here is on day 5 of a 14-day fast... and we're feeling great!!! We've got a doc in our midst who's pumping us up with ozone and vitamin shots, we're walking on the beach every day (it's hot over here in the Whitsundays)... not a real fast, per se, but fruit in the blender (lots of mangoes, lychee, pineapple, banana) with tons of ice and water...

    Great way to start the new year!!!
