What Is Your Operating Software And Why?

Well, as this section of the forum is dedicated to general discussions, it can be nice asking you guys about your favorite operating software installed on your computer.

I am using Windows XP currently and may consider upgrading that to Vista in the near future but of course I still do not see any deadlines yet as all programs and games are still quite compatible with that. Please express your ideas in this regard and mention your points.
