Default a request to (neo) pagans only

just a title as i would never be so exclusionary. mystical experience is for all regardless of it's method and source. the latter being the same in the end.

who can't get direction, inspiration and the like from any good book or walk in the woods etcetcetc?

when i started to honestly pray (was a born again for 8 years) about my path, i was lead Out of the church. have perused other's ways and have found infinitely more tolerance and wisdom.

anyway, i've been witnessing (to borrow a term into a pun) amazing synchronicities. in a sense i've been generating them but won't go into detail.
i've also been getting visual impressons of local nature spirits. these two phenomena work together in a way which i'm trying to figure out. but it does confirm the old views about everything being connected. like the Norse's web of Wyrd.

a carefully constructed and performed ritual is better than grovelling prayer. it's self empowering. and it's being personally responsible - not passing everything off to either god's will or the devil.
it's a Science. not mucking around with moral dilemmas etc.

i also could'nt help note that raising energy - as in chi kung and the like - feels very similar to those times i was supposedly filled with the spirit or holy ghost.
these are just labels - which theopolitics (priestcraft) obfuscated to keep the status quo.
you just raise energy with whatever works... and raising energy is everything (if you care about living in this world).

i recently got the book tibetan book of living and dying. there is more compassion in tibetan buddhism than you'll find anywhere.

i'll just throw in that i became a student of the bible After i left the church.
that is, bible origins and textual analysis. the whole book is one big cut n paste job - edited, redacted over and over again for a period of over 900 years. each redaction according to the Current theology (theology that is). the whole thing was written to use as a theopolitical tool. most of the major characters as well as their sayings and exploits are direct lifts from earlier sources. shame.

hasn't anyone ever wondered about the Old T as to the New? if you look into what that was Really about you'd see that it was the most audacious slander to someone's sacred text (jews in this case). and the muslim's did the same thing afterwards.
that in itself is a warning sign.
not the lines of wisdom (tho as mentioned, scholars can easily show that christianity was a plagiarism of earlier pagan culture's wisdom) but the one upmanshipping.

in magickal circles they have a term called solitary practitioner. it's true; you don't have to go to a church/read the bible/pray to Any god to learn about (metaphysical) reality. we have something called by some the higher self. THIS is what makes things happen or not.

i guess a kicker for me in all this is that many church fathers Admitted that their scheme was indeed that. pope leo the 10th admitted it.
this does'nt just apply to the catholic church as the rest Came from that. like the pentacostal fundamentalist evengelical church i was in...

so, anyone into either the golden dawn's system of magick? or how's about Asatru? Have been getting deep into rune lore (elder futhark). i can't begin to describe the impressions i get from this.
people need to check out the religions of their ancestry. when i started to look into the religions of northwest europe i got that coming home feeling.
not everyone is meant to follow some theopolitical construct from the middle east.

although i do not subscribe to your beliefs, i think it would be easier to get more "converts" if you can demonstrate how the curreny lifestyle in the western world is almost similar to paganism itself.

a lot of people don't realise this but while to say they are following one religion or the other, ultimately, their way of life reflects paganism.

    Default x

i've been aware of this for quite sometime.

converts? you can't read between the lines.

i'm talking religious Institutions as to genuine religious/mystical experience (where the former isn't needed).

as i said, it's a science (of energy). the rest is philosophical speculation (kabbalah is king here), wishful thinking etc.

but there Is a resonance when finding your roots. Tho, while in the Big picture, even That is moot and perhaps limiting.

i don't try to believe in this arena (except in chaos magickal technique). to know is more important. you won't get that from a book, church dogma...or runes.

it's energy and levels of awareness.

lucid dreaming, obe and various entheogens will teach you more about the multiverse that anything else. except of course your own inner self, if you can access it.

radionics has much to "say" in this. how it works; neither prayer Or conjuring needed.

btw, the golden dawn is laced with christian mysticism. i've no problem with esoteric christianity which is more like gnosticism - which was essentially, "pagan". this a purely christian term to clarify who was who and on what side.

i don't know of any buddhist (name calling) terms like this.

maybe pagan is a misnomer for me. parhaps, a multidimensional being (who's beyond medieval dogmas).

hmm, let's see. jesus hung on the cross for three days. odin hung on the tree for nine. which is not a myth?
