Where is a good place to go and check the price of gold and silver daily? And also can I find something that shows how the prices were each day of the week at a time?

also does anyone know how high gold has gotten up to. I heard it went down a bit recently...?

It went down shortly after the historical maximum $1023 in the March .
During previous 3 months it's floating within a range $850-$950 . The last week onto several boards was closed at the price $920-$927 vs $900-$901 opened.
So, it went up if you meant the last week when said 'recently'.
