Thread: Whipped by Wilma!!!

Luckily for our friends, they are well sealed-in and taking refuge in their basement they had been in there for the many threatening years ensued as luxury homes with residents living in Destin (where they now are) are often threatened, but this is one hurricane thats whipping real bad above ground!!!

Spoke to them this early morning and its bashing with howls and near thundering splashes above and outside their solid built home.

We pray they (one daughter and 3 grand kids are sheltering with them while S-i-L is in Canada for business) will be safe again when Wilma wears off!!

Destin is in Florida Panhandle. Wilma is nowhere close.

Wilma hit the southern part of Florida, west side and east side, Ft. Myers and below for the most part. We have been watching the weather channel pretty closely because we spend winters in Punta Gorda which is where Charlie made landfall a year ago.
