Thread: Ebook payments, how does it work

Im a noob with ebooks, but can someone pm me and explain how the payment works? They push the paypal button, pay, and then? They get the book send automatically or get a membername so they can browse a secured area on the site or?

Any reply with some info would be most awesome and apreciated.

nope..u pay as usual with sumthing like paypal or others similar...then u'll usually be given a link to download the book usually in .pdf format. save it to ur computer and ~tada~ you can read it anytime providing u have an pdf viewer to open the ebook.

There is no other alternate way buddy . Its betr if you pay via paypal , as soon as you push the button an URL link will be send to your email id and then you have the permission of downloading the ebook . Generally the ebook will be in .pdf format , after downloading save it on to computer and then view with acrobat reader.

There are alternate ways to pay. Bank wire, direct credit card transactions, etc. Its just which type of payment are offered by the seller. But for most cases, they use paypal so i'm not saying that they don't use paypal but there are others alternate ways to pay.

I think not sure what kind of e-books they are ,but as per my experience, there are some e-books you can buy ,and after you pay, the seller will send a file for the e-book to you and then you can read it in your computer.
other way is you pay for reading in some website.

You need to download/buy some program that redirects the buyer to the download-page after the Paypal-payment. Or, even better, buy a service that does this for you, because the ones done with some kind of program are easy to crack and people could download your ebook without paying.

Most of such sites which claim to make you rich through ebooks would be scams. Don't fall for such sites. But yes, there are genuine sites too, which sells very genuine ebooks which has useful info in it. Just research before buying anything like that.
