    Company Earnings

    Stocks started the session off in the negative, despite several reports on company earnings. (Read more at Millennium-Traders.Com)|

    Economic data released today:

    Initial Jobless Claims:
    U.S. February 5 Week Jobless Claims Revised to 385K from 383K; U.S. Jobless Claims rose 25K to 410K in February 12 Week; Compared to Survey of an increase by 17K; U.S. Real Average Weekly Earnings fell 0.3% in January.

    Continuing Jobless Claims:
    U.S. February 5 Week Continuing Claims rose 1K to 3,911,000.

    CPI (MoM):
    U.S. January CPI Energy Prices rose 2.1%; Food Prices rose 0.5%; U.S. January CPI Unrounded rose 0.398%; Core rose 0.170%; U.S. January CPI Ex-Food & Energy rose 0.2%; Compared to Consensus of an increase by 0.1%; U.S. January Consumer Prices rose 0.4%; Compared to Consensus of an increase by 0.3%.

    Philadelphia Fed Manufacturing Index:
    Philadelphia Fed: February Index Highest Since January 2004; Philadelphia Fed February Inventories 2.1 versus January 6.8; Philadelphia Fed February Delivery Times 10.0 versus January 2.3; Philadelphia Fed February Shipments 35.2 versus January 13.4; Philadelphia Fed February New Orders 23.7 versus January 23.6; Philadelphia Fed February Employment 23.6 versus January 17.6; Philadelphia Fed February Price Received 21.0 versus January 17.1; Philadelphia Fed February Price Paid 67.2 versus January 54.3; Philadelphia Fed February Business Index Expected 20.5; Philadelphia Fed February Business Index 35.9 versus January 19.3; Philadelphia Fed: 'Firms Remain Confident' Expansion Will Continue.
