    Economic Growth

    Investors were disappointed to hear economic growth in the fourth quarter was slightly less than analysts were expecting. (Read more at Millennium-Traders.Com)

    GDP (QoQ):
    Chain-Weighted Price Index rose 0.3% Rate in 4Q; Domestic Purchases Price Index rose 2.1% Rate in 4Q; Core PCE Price Index rose 0.4% Rate in 4Q; PCE Price Index rose 1.8% Rate in 4Q; Real Final Sales rose 7.1% in 4Q; U.S. GDP rose 3.2% Rate in 4Q; Compared to Consensus of an increase by 3.5%.

    Employment Cost Index (QoQ):
    U.S. 4Q Employment Cost Index rose 2.0% From Year Ago; U.S. 4Q Employment Cost Index rose 0.4%; Compared to Consensus of an increase by 0.5%.

    Michigan Consumer Sentiment Index:
    University of Michigan End-January Current Index 81.8; University of Michigan End- January Sentiment 74.2.

    Michigan Inflation Expectations:
    University of Michigan 5-Year Inflation Forecast rose 2.9%; University of Michigan 12-Month Inflation Forecast rose 3.4%; University of Michigan End-January Expectations 69.3.
