Unemployment Rate

It was reported this morning that the unemployment rate has fallen to its lowest level since 2009. (Read more at Millennium-Traders.Com)

Nonfarm Payrolls:
U.S. November Payrolls Revised to rise 71K from +39K; U.S. December Manufacturing Payrolls rose 10K; Service-Producing rose 105K; U.S. December Government Payrolls fell 10K; Federal rose 10K; U.S. December Nonfarm Payrolls rose 103K; Compared to Consensus of an increase by 150K.

Unemployment Rate:
U.S. November Unemployment Left Unrevised at 9.8%; U.S. December Unemployment Rate 9.4%; Compared to Consensus of 9.7%.

Average Hourly Earnings (MoM):
U.S. December Average Hourly Earnings rose $0.03 to $22.78.

Average Weekly Hours:
U.S. December Overall Workweek Unchanged at 34.3 Hours.

Private Nonfarm Payrolls:
U.S. December Private Payrolls rose 113K.

Consumer Credit:
U.S. November Consumer Credit Increased $1.3B; October Consumer Credit Revised to up $7.0B from up $3.4B; U.S. Credit-Card Use Dropped 27th Straight Month in November.
