Chinese Exports Grow by 50%, Workers Get Wage Hike

On Thursday, China reported that its exports grew by 50%, quite a high number for export increase by percentage. Property prices also increased by more than 10% in many of China's big cities. Signs that the Chinese economy is indeed growing at a rapid rate is a very positive sign for the international economy as a whole, as this indicates that countries such as the United States, those in Europe & many others are getting these imports.

Wage increases are also being seen throughout China, & not just in the big cities. Many provinces are raising their minimum wage by as much as 16%.

This oil spill will be a test not only of BP's capabilities but also of their integrity of the company, let's hope they pass it. Anything less could mean severe affects on the United States' economy.
