The markets were in the hands of the Bulls today. The DOW posted a hefty triple digit gain of almost 500 points by the closing bell. Apparently the rally was kindled by Treasury Secretary's initiation for toxic assets to be bought up by private investors.

Co sales in 2008 reached a growth of 69% compared with a year earlier. This result reflects good performances in domestic and export markets, both of which reported an increase in sales volume and revenue.

Co reports fourth quarter and full year 2008 results. Net loss was $800.3 mln or -$6.22 per fully diluted ADS, compared to net income of $51.3 mln for the third quarter of 2008 or $0.38 per fully diluted ADS.

Hub Group sees 1st-qtr profit below expectations. The Company estimates truck brokerage revenue will be down 22% to 28% in the first quarter due to declines in price, volume and fuel.

After the hefty gains on Wall Street yesterday, traders took the day to cash in their chips and took some profits off the table. The major U.S. indices ended the session in negative territory. Trading activity was rather listless as gains from yesterday, slowly dwindled lower.

Kyocera Corp and TESSCO announce partnership to launch and distribute standard railroad solar power systems.
(CMC) - short
The company posted a net loss of $35.3 mln, or 32 cents per share, down from net earnings of $39.8 mln, or 34 cents per share from the previous year's second quarter.
(ALV) - short
As planned, co drew an additional $300 mln in March for two months from its revolving credit facility primarily for debt maturiting in March and April. In its latest outlook, Autoliv announced that it expected capital expenditures net to decline from $279 mln in 2008 to a range of $200-$250 mln.

Co lowers FY09 EPS guidance to $1.30-1.65 vs $1.74 consensus, down from $1.80-2.00.

A volatile trading session was seen on Wall Street today. Trading activity moved from the positive to negative then positive again, into the final closing bell. Economic data gave the markets a boost into the open. Traders experienced a very whippy trading session and were relieved to lay it to rest when the closing bell rang.

More gains for the major U.S. indices again today. Trading activity was rather dull, amidst the gains. The markets moved into positive territory where they held firmly, into the closing bell. Ahead of rapping up the final full trading week for the month of March, just as the weather is supposed to go out like a lamb, Wall Street is looking forward to the roar of the Bulls to put the month to sleep.

Christopher & Banks, sees Q4 EPS of ($0.65) vs ($0.40) First Call consensus. The co says it also experienced a significant decrease in its gross margin as compared to the fourth quarter of fiscal 2008.
