Thread: T3 CCI - Vertex FX Indicator

The T3 CCI indicator is a powerful vertex FX indicator which itself is a variant of the CCI indicator, and reduces the lag of the CCI indicator and provides better smoothing.

In the first step we calculate the CCI values based on the MEDIAN price over the CCI_PERIOD. In the next step, we smooth this CCI value using the T3_PERIOD and B (beta) co-efficient to derive the T3 CCI indicator. Like the CCI indicator, the T3 CCI indicator also oscillates around the zero line. When the T3 CCI indicator moves upwards it implies that the market is trending up. On the contrary, when the T3 CCI indicator is smoothly falling downwards, it implies that the market is trending downwards.

BUY - Enter BUY trade when the T3 CCI is below zero, and is raising at least two candles in a row.

SELL - Enter SELL trade when the T3 CCI is above zero, and is falling at least two candles in a row.
