TERMS AND CONDITIONS


General rules

• Campaign “Fall Trading Marathon” is held by Tickmill Ltd.
• Campaign period: from October 1st till November 30th, 2015.
• Campaign available to all LIVE clients with the following account types: Classic, ECN Pro, VIP. Open live account here.
• To participate in the campaign, a client has to provide his email and a nickname in the registration form on the campaign page. The email has to be the same as is used to login to Trader’s Room.
• By filling in the campaign registration form, a client agrees to campaign’s terms and conditions.

Activity points calculation

• Traders who are eligible and fulfilled the requirements have the right to participate in the campaign and receive the activity points according to the table below:

• Every 1 lot traded5 pointsEvery 100 USD deposited 10 points
• The activity points are calculated per each unique client (all MT4 trading accounts totally).
• The leaderboard with the activity points will be updated once a week, every Monday at 16:00 (MT4 server time).
• The leaderboard includes client’s nickname and the total amount of activity points gained in the respective campaign week.
• The deposited amount entitled for points is calculated based on the Net deposit amount in the period from the client’s registration in the campaign (date and time up to hours, minutes and seconds) until the campaign End date.

Net deposit = Sum of all Deposits – Sum of all Withdrawals
Example 1: Client A registered in the campaign on September 28th. Starting from September 28th until November 30th, Client A has made deposits worth 3000 USD and withdrawals worth 1000 USD. The Net deposit for this client will be 3000 USD – 1000 USD = 2000 USD. Based on the net deposit, Client A will receive 200 activity points.
Example 2: Client B registered in the campaign on October 18th. Starting from October 18th until November 30th, Client B has made deposits worth 1000 USD, gained profit and then made withdrawals worth 2000 USD before the campaign End date. The net deposit for this client will be 1000 USD – 2000 USD = – 1000 USD. Based on the net deposit, Client B will receive 0 activity points, as his Net deposit sum is negative.

• The activity points for the Net deposit are calculated per each 100 USD of deposit. The amount deposited in other currencies will be converted to USD according to the ECB rates published on Friday of the respective week.

Example 1: Client’s Net deposit in the campaign participation period is 5680 USD. The client will receive 560 points for Net deposits.
Example 2: Client’s Net deposit in the campaign participation period is 4750 EUR. The market rate of EURUSD on the calculation date is 1.1207. The client’s deposit in USD will be equal to 5323 USD. The client will receive 530 points for Net deposits.

• The activity points for the lots traded are calculated per each lot.

For example: Client’s total lots traded in the campaign participation period is 87.43 lots. The client will receive 435 points for the lots traded.

• Trading volume is calculated for the round turn trades performed in the period from the client’s registration in the campaign (date and time up to hours, minutes and seconds) until the campaign End date.
• A ’round turn’ trade means that opening of 1 lot unit position and closure of this same position will be counted as 1 lot of trading volume.
• Trading volume is accounted for currency pairs and metals, CFDs are excluded.
• Trading volume is accounted only for the trades that remained open for at least 5 minutes.

Receiving prizes and bonuses

• Traders who are eligible and fulfilled the requirements will have a chance to receive prizes: OnePlus 2 smartphone or a 250 USD bonus.
• The prize will be granted to traders, who have accumulated the highest amount of activity points during the campaign period according to the following table:

• The winners will be announced on the campaign page by December 18th.
• Tickmill will contact the winners personally via email.
• The winners of OnePlus 2 smartphones agree to provide the first name and short interview that will be published on Tickmill web page before getting a prize.
• In case a winner has not responded to Tickmill’s communication in 48 hours, he is disqualified and the prize goes to a next trader in the Ranking table.
• Bonus will be added to the MT4 trading account according to the client`s wish.
• Bonus will be added to your account by December 18th.
• The requests to review the campaign results are accepted by December 25th.

Other terms

• Tickmill reserves the right to disqualify any user if there is a suspicion of misuse or abuse.
• Tickmill reserves the right to change the Terms of the campaign or cancel it at any time.
