the robot/sofware is home made... it took about a week... to learn the programming language and 1 week to program it.... didn't sleep for 2 weeks.

Since I live in Japan before.... I only trade with USD-JPY.
The robot is used to trade USD-JPY only.
It's a live account and I didn't want to risk trying other pairs.
$1200 is my life saving for me... I not going to waste it if I don't think my robot is bad. But so far so good.

Live account: 320% return in 45-52 trading days. MINI account (1 hr chart)


I try to back track 1 year on the GBP-USD for fun. with entrypips of 1pips
I was in shock of the result. I'm not sure I was dreaming or the sofware is wrong but the result was amasing...
Remember back track is not the same as live trading, but hope if will work the same in 7 months from now.

How robot work.
I remember in Microbiology class.... bateria grows best at 62%.
So I try to make my winning % 62%.
Robot will take current "tick" and back track to "30 tick" and
probability perdict the next tick..... go up do buy.... go down do sell.
(one tick is 1 hour chart)

I will wish I have the time to sit down and watch the market and see how I can improve on the robot...... but working... can't do that.
I can only program on the weekend but the forex market is close... suck.
There is one bug in the logic.... I can't seem to fix it... need more time.


But if I software is correct..... by nov 15 2005..... My mini live account should go upto $65,000. then I can quit both my job. Just image in one year.

But I just wonder how you do the programming that link your live account for the trading and how is your software collect the data in real time to decide the buy or sell. Btw what programming language you use to write the trading application. once again thanks in advance for sharing the information.

This is so interesting..thank you for sharing your experience with Forex Robot. Had never even heard of such a thing until this week. I just attended a meeting tonight with several colleagues and learned of a new FOREX ROBOT that you don't have to program...it's done for you. The programmers have 10 years experience with robots in the equities market where 40% of all trades are done robotically! In

My Mini account is with InterbankFX broker.
The robot auto connect to the broker when I turn the robot on and login.

Here is the spec of the robot.
It can do MULTIPLE currency at the same time.
It can do forward trading and backward trading.
Auto Stop limited on depedning on the market stability.
Auto Buy and Sell on depending on the market.
Auto adjust stop limit on the market stabiltity.
Auto adjust profit take on the market stability.
Auto Hedge on market if it think the market will reverse.
Auto adjust Hedge limited stop.
Most Importantly....It has AI system...many hours spend on it, but not perfect yet.
It can "learn" from mistake and teach itself for future trading.... to MAX profit.
The AI system was to design to do a exponential profit... another words exponential slope on profit graph.

How importantly to the AI system.
It will start off by doing few trades, but as it "learns" by itself...
it will do more/many trades with better prediction.
How good is the AI system.... look at the graph below. EXPONENTIAL growth.

Important.
The 5070pips point profit is NOT because it was lucky to got one "big good spike".
The robot makes 5070pips point in 56 trading days through it AI system.
Few trading in the begining and do many trading as it learn the market.

However, there is a few flaws in the AI system.
I don't like the way it decide on the stop limit and and to start the hedging on reverse market flow.
Well, I shouldn't complaining.... since it helps me making profit.


So Questions to some of you experince traders.
1) What is your favorite stop limited.
2) When do you start your hedging when the market go reverse.

The robot pick a weird numbers sometimes.... If I can fix the AI system for these two problem.
Then I should have a nice graph.

Overall, I trust my programming and my software...
However, I should really test it by doing at least 10 currency at the same time and see if the AI can handle it.
But it's a live account... I'm worry a bit.... but once I hit 50K mark.... I will do all currency at the same time.

very very interesting. Ive been programming with vttrader for a while now, and it has an API so you can extend it, but ive found some limitations with the system. I will check out meta. About 11 yrs ago I used to program ai systems for games, it will be good to apply ai concepts to forex market.

I too have a 'robot' or a system that is based on indicators, that works and is profitable. I tend to trade eur/usd as good spread and focus clearly on one market. Im still trying out approaches, ive done a lot of backtesting, but when running live i like to oversee it and decide whether to go with recommendations or not. 80%+ are profitable, if you get out at the correct time. Right now I am building up a good history of live trading.

Lots of respect for what you have done, a lot of us too are working hard and looking for a means for extra income, and the forex market is a dream opportunity for us.

One of my clients is a pro trader (for 30 yrs) and i talk with him several hours a week about trading, i have shown my system to him and he believes it will work indefinetely and is willing to invest in me. that to me says more about it than anything else. he is very smart on fundamentals and places his trades once a day then goes off to play golf. He advises banks for huge fees. We on the other hand are focused on technical analysis: but both approaches work.

hey im doing good thanks mate, i got a computer setup in the office now so i can trade all day long at work. Im focused right now on getting a good history built up. Im a bit strapped right now so waiting for some cash to come in as i dont want to do this on credit - not the way i operate. I also have people interested in having me trade for them. If ive got the history (building) and the references (got excellent) i will look at trading for other people. The other option is me and a friend go in with just a couple of K each, just to be trading with the real stuff and building the account up.

This week went ok, ended up about 8% up; generally i would expect to do better than that, but ive lowered the leverage and am playing it pretty safe.

yeah i think if the track record is there then ill be beating people off with a stick! This beats the pants off pips or anything!

I will put my monthly results online so you guys can take a look.. remind me in a few wks time! if you dont get inspired to trade or cant because of work or whatever, then theoretically i wouldnt mind trading a single pooled account but with a few ground rules ... only to people that have proved their character on here (there are a core group of people here who contribute well and i respect), and would keep it very limited no of members and cash: very much a private thing. No big promises, just actual returns paid out, and probably pay out fortnightly or monthly, or whenever you want-ly. I am so not interested in the hyip bs marketing etc so would skip all that. What i do like is trading and talking with people, and i would like to know my investors and have them know me, and meet if at all possible. this is the way of the pablo.
