Forbes says, Strong equity markets combined with rising real estate values and commodity prices pushed up fortune. Forbes pinned down 946 billionaires, including 178 newcomers and 17 people who climbed back into the ranks after being absent for a year or more. Two-thirds of last year's billionaires are richer. Only 17% are poorer, including 32 who fell below the billion-dollar mark

My opinion is that year 2007 - 2008 will be "Year of forex & stock investors" where many new billionaires will be created from forex & stocks because of major world events that result in major price fluctuations for Oil, Gold, US Dollar & high demand for all products from 2 biggest economies China & India. People in these 2 countries are getting rich & combined population of China & India is 2.3 billion people or 2300 million people. That's 1/3 of world population which is 7 billion or 7000 million people

Present stock exchange/equity markets are highly profitable because there are hundreds of companies listed on worldwide stock exchanges that have earned 50% - 100% profit in 1 year.

Many stock investors have earned 200% profit in 1 year.

Money is earned like never before. The value of money is getting less

It's surprising Forbes never write "FOREX" on their website as source of income for Billionaires. The Forex industry is the biggest market on earth today, with a daily turnover of 3 trillion dollars (1000 billion = 1 trillion)

In my opinion, next year when Forbes list comes out for 2007, the world should see "FOREX" creating some billionaires because there is major price fluctuation (rise/fall) for currency pairs in forex
