The way to make a good steamshop is by making it easy for people to read and understand. People like colors, working with website background and text boxes.

If the steam shop is set up, in an ugly format. People will most likely ignore your shop. If you look professional, you are profesional (scammers not included).

The most easiest way to set up a nice steam shop is to have seperation between sections of your post (ex:4dig/5dig/6dig/7dig/8dig/etc.) Look at this example I just created.

This is a basic separation, but what it did was drew the eye of a buyer and maybe even a seller.

Next I'm going to show you how to format the things you need in your post, such as the SteamID(STEAM_0:0:12345678), 2 Different formats of Games(CSS/CS/HL2/HL1/Etc..)(CounterStrikeSource/CounterStrike1.6/Etc...), Vac Bans(whether its vac-banned or not), and the League Proof(cal I/cevo p/Cevo M/etc).

First off, we'll learn about the SteamID. I know a few ways to get the SteamID rather than just going directly ingame and typing status in *******.

Method 1

Log into the account via http://www.steamcommunity.com or using the program steam itself.
Go to the community tab in the account
Search at the top of the page for the URL to that page
Ex: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/#############/home (replace the # signs with numbers)
Copy the #'s that are the URL
Go to http://www.noobsticks.com/home.php?pageid=lookup and paste those #'s you found in the URL into the text box
Copy the Steam ID that they provide you (ex: STEAM_0:012345678)
Paste the Steam ID into your steamshop thread
Remove the Last 2 or 3 numbers of the Steam ID and add X's

Method 2

Log into the steam account via Steam program
Start a game that you have installed
Join an online server
Go to *******
Type this command Code:
status
Find your ingame name in the list that appears
Copy the Steam ID that is shows
Paste the Steam ID into your steamshop thread
Remove the Last 2 or 3 numbers of the Steam ID and add X's

Now time to do that boring part, listing the games. I personally use a steam multi-tool, allowing me to enter a username and a password, which then shows me the full list of games already typed out ready for a copy and paste. That is why in my shop, I show use a code format and type out the full game. But I can tell you guys a different easier way to do it.

Method 1

Go to http://www.steamcalculator.com
Find your community page URL
Copy the numbers from the community page URL
Paste those numbers into the text box
At the end of the numbers type Code:
/home

For the next 2 things we need to do (Check Vac Status, and League Proof), we can use the website http://www.legit-proof.com. In order to use this website, you will need to know the Steam ID of the account you are checking.

Get your Steam ID as shown in the first tutorial
Copy/Paste the 0:X:XXXXXX into the text box at http://www.legit-proof.com that says Vac Banned
Do the same for the League Proof text boxes at http://www.legit-proof.com.

The easy stuff now, adding your contact info.

At the top of your website, always include your contact details! Most people use MSN, which means you should probably go out and get it. (http://www.hotmail.com)
