We are looking for developers to work on a space based online strategy MMO / virtual world which will utilize HYPER as the in-game currency.
Our vision is to explore the universe, develop planets, form trade agreements with other players and acquire resources and technology that will generate HYPER for players.
Plans also exist to add more emerging currencies such as Devcoin and Bitcoin.

Developers will be paid in HYPER for their contributions. The game will be strategy based, enabling players to develop and grow their own intergalactic empire which earns them HYPER every single day.
We are not looking for extremely fancy graphics but a meditative, immersive space based strategy game playing experience.

HYPER Zandagort Server (Cult Space MMO Strategy Game We Resurrected)

We have successfully resurrected the indie cult space 4X MMO space game Zandagort, and we are now running the only English server of this game in the world! The game had a large cult following so we expect many old fans to come play once the news spreads. Dfletcher did an amazing job working through the Hungarian code and getting the game to display in English.

Some important points:

- This game is very slow going and is a deep, deep strategy game (but it's awesome!).
- I highly recommend checking out the tutorial at http://zandagort.com to see how to play.
- The game is provided as is, we do have plans for the future and we are backing up the database but please bear in mind it is in an open Alpha state.
- It's entirely free to play!!
- Traditionally, the game ends after 6 months or so when a big alien army invades the whole galaxy. We will run this first server without the invading army as a test and for everyone to learn how to play. You can still make alliances with other players, trading agreements and go to war etc :) Have fun building your intergalactic empire :) In a few months we might open a vote if you guys want the aliens to arrive!

Some possible plans for the future:

- Add nice space / ambient background music
- Integrate HYPER into the in-game free market trading platform the game already has
- Accept HYPER as a payment method for upgraded accounts
- There is no ETA on the above plans yet - we will see how popular the game is!
