Since the end of January 2014, we've set-out to create the ultimate information based, alternative currency website. Through our research conducted, we've analyzed almost every crypto based site; from market, analysis sites, exchanges, merchants, news and the information based crypto sites. What we've found is there is a missing piece to the entire puzzle, that is a completely solid structure where people can highlight their coins to the masses.

The Revolution

Cryptsy.com has the highest (web traffic) and most respected reputation out of any exchange site. On the other end of the spectrum we have the giant news based website, Coindesk.com. Within the middle of these two sites, the space is completely blank and empty. Coins Source is that middle framework, a cross between a(n) market analysing, exchange type sites and the crypto-news based sites, twitters and etc. In Coins Source's business plan, we go in a lot of depth revolving around our competitors. Coins Source was founded on one purpose, to help inform the masses about alternative currencies (which in turn gives more value to all coins) and act as a gateway.

Coins Source features the latest coin articles, newest launches, coin reviews, market analysis, market information, crypto-guides, mining guides and several other miscellaneous information regarding alternative coins. One of the major focuses is the ability to display informative knowledge, very quickly and accessible to: masses, investors and traders within alt-currencies. All coin articles will be presented with a review, official Coins Source score, live market API feed, graphic picture, website resources, specifications and a premium based market analysis section. Some alts may be subjected to more or less information, regarding the circumstances behind the coin. We understand and realize the need for sites to review coins and list some specifications; this has been replicated but not fully touched up upon. Several sites may give a brief summary and some information pertaining to the coin, but no single site is dedicated to the information in an UN-intrusive and simple manner to the masses. Coins Source will acquire this space, and fiercely compete with any contenders who dare enter the alternative currency information space.

Coins Source's greatest strength is the amount of information displayed for our initial 110+ alternative coins. We've literally spent over a thousand hours gathering this information and it will be available to everyone... totally free! The Coins Source scoring section is a unique concept, and we can safely say no one has done a more explicit job in explaining the current scenario of each-coin.About 3 months ago and even up to recently, the chaotic nature of coins launching each day confused the hell out of people. One minute the coin has a 50,000,000 Market share the next day a 1,000,000 market share, well what the f*** just happened? Through our examination of all alternative coins you will get an overall better picture and explanation of the current scenario. Market analyzing and numerical approach to analyzing markets is a(n) excellent way to start, but its just one side of a larger scenario. What we do:

Coins Source team ultimately is founded by professionals and writers for crypto currencies. To review and score a coin, we first begin by doing an extensive background search on the search engines. Through the first 100 pages on Google and Bing, we get a good idea of the type of support the coin has. Then we start digging in deep. Most of the time we begin right here on Bitcointalk, since the majority of alternative coins get discussed and explained here heavily. We scan all the posts and pages then we move onto the social side. Questions arise about the potential for the future of X alternative coin and etc. Then we scour Market sites, get a(n) good indication of the volume, prices and all the aspects you are probably quite familiar with.

After all our hours of research, for just 1 coin, we begin compiling and write our reviews. Our reviews encompass a basic framework, very in-depth of what the coin is. We often do not go too much detail into technical Jabber that we all know. Our goal is to have someone like your mother click a coin article and understand where, why, how, what and when of the coin. Just a basic understanding of each coin through the review. We've tested this concept with our families, random users on the forums and etc and have gotten a really positive response.

Who are we?
Alright, we've covered aspects of what, why and how, now onto who. Coins Source was founded by me, T.K. Hamed, CEO and Founder of Coins Source. You can get a good overview about my history on the about us page. I've been around these forums a lot, actually i'm quite a newcomer to alternative currencies; But, I've at least spend a thousand hours researching, interacting and etc with people about alternative currencies, in the last 5 months. Announcement about SourceCoin:

The Blockchain is going to be forked at block 20,000, wallet upgrades won't be necessary until block 20,000. In total, 110,000 SourceCoins will be mined ontop of the 990,000 premined. This will total to 1,100,000 SourceCoins and inflations will be slightly adjusted to 12% inflation, 1% per month or 30 days. After block 20,000 the coin's blockchain will be forked and SourceCoin will be a 100% proof of stake coin. The reason we did this was partially because of an error from our developer, but it worked out in our favor to allow a wider adoption and some Mining distribution for securing the network in the initial weeks. The wallet update will be available by this Saturday, We recommend you update the client immediately. But again, by block 20,000 all older versions of the wallet will be obsolete. Currently we are on block 8500. We appreciate any and all investments, Coins Source will ultimately be very profitable in the near future.
