Comps are freebies that the casino gives you to reward you for gambling, such as meals, show tickets, or free or discounted rooms. The casino will generally give you back about 30% of your expected loss in comps.
What we do
We don't give you full explanation about what we do because it is a big secret. But we give you the main point. Our job is to make the pit boss notes our gambling acivities. When we play tables, we change your money with casino chips. Put them on the tables and just wait at least 30 minutes or until the dealer shift with another dealer. NO GAMBLE! Just wait and wait. Then we color in the chips more than before so the pit boss thinks we gamble and win. The pit boss will note the amount of the chips on the machine. That's it. Simple and effective.
The math
For example, we bring $2000 to the casino. We have to chip $1500 before we go to the table area. After that, we play. Change $500 and wait. Then we color in all the chips. $2000 chips. So the pit boss think that we win $1500 and we will receive comps in our players card. We do this over and over again in a day. So, actually we work, not gamble. We spend lots of hours in a day. It is so boring cause we only wait and wait. But it is a good worth. At the end of the month, we convert the comps into cash with 1:2 ratio. Easy right?
Let's count :
If we bring $10,000, we can get $300 comp. That's 3% and worth of $150 cash. But it's not a fixed percentage cause comps also depend on the pitboss. Some give good comps, some give poor comps. Then we have to pay the team. Each person works 8 hours a day on average. We pay $8 per hour.
* $150 - ( $8 x 8 ) = $86. The Investors receive 0.5%. The rest of the money goes to us.
* $10,000 x 0.5% = $50. $150 - $86 = $64. Investors get $50 and we get $64.
