This is the same as the pyramid system. It is good for the first handful. Then it filters out. Soon it is broken and then it does not work.

It is the same thing with the doublers. They sound good, but people are just not consistent enough. They easilylose hope and become disenchanted. Greed is at the bottom of these failures. People want more and more. So, little and maybe, doe not cut it for many. Patience is no longer a virtue.

I remember the same sales pitch a few years ago..

The pitch stated that it did not make sense to put your name on the top of the list because then you were not utilising the program to its full potential..

Observe:

#1 (bob) #2 (alice) #3 (paul) #4 (peter) #5 (sam) #6 (greg)

So if our reader's name is "james" and he decides to join the program, he pays bob, alice, paul, peter, sam & greg $€£2, then takes bob's name off the list and puts his name on the end of the list.

Then you advertise, advertise, advertise, (usually by annoying community forums and eventually ticking people off). The theory is that your advertisement will be picked up by (for example): 20 or more new recruits who each pay $€£2 to the 6 names on the list, your name being in number 6 position. The each of the 20 new recruits do what you did, they take the original list and delete alice (who was in the #! position) from it and add their name to the #6 position. This now has you in the #5 position.

So here's WHY you logically dont put your name in the #1 position. Each of those 20 new recruits paid you £$€2 to join the list so you're now £$€40 richer. Then, each of those 20 new recruits advertises, advertises, advertises until each of them get 20 new rectruits so now you have 20 £$€2 payments times 20 which is another £$€800 richer you are..

The amount of payments you receive expands more and more as you get to the number one spot until eventually you get a massive paycheque and your name is rotated off the list.

THAT is why the pitch speaks for itself and you dont put your name on the #1 spot.. because you'll only receive the £$€40 and then your name is out.

HOWEVER, this was just a clever idea to suck people in at the beginning.. as a previous poster said, they fizzle out after a short time.. Think of it, post on 200 newsgroups, the next level do the same.. The pitch states that there are close to 32,000 newsgroups but when you actually use your head you will see that this figure is not many at all in conjunction to the nature of the program.

If one person starts the list and posts on 200 groups

Thats a total of 200 from 32,000 which leaves 31,800

That one person recruits 20 people who each post on 200 groups

20 people, in 200 groups each then thats 4,000 groups which leaves 27,800

If those 20 each recruit 20 people thats 400 people, posting in 200 groups each

Thats 80,000 MORE groups needed!


All of a sudden bang, new recruits are re-posting on already used forums and groups..

By the time the next generations come along you can see where the real problem unfolds..
