TOURS FOR PENANG
Thanks Yogi for the kind words. I do love my home state and there is more to be proud of now. We have been declared a UNESCO heritage site and a northern hub for regional travel. This means, not only can you visit Penang, you can catch the action in Phuket and Koh Samui in Thailand and go to Medan, Banda Acheh and Bali in Indonesia!
What's there to do?
Plenty!
- sunbathing and other activities on the beaches
- go shopping at flea markets, nightmarkets, upmarket establishments
- try many different types of food
- heritage sites like fort, clan houses, churches and more
- famous temples like the Kek Lok Si & Snake Temple
- get close to nature like visiting our National Park, Penang Hill and Botanic Gardens
- try many types of fruits in season like durian, rambutan, mangosteen and more
How much is a room in Penang?
Well if you go 5-star it is around US$161 and if you decide to rough it out, rooms can be as cheap as US$20! Unbelievable but true. Despite higher cost of living in Penang, we are still much cheaper compared to other big cities like Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bahru.
